This one actually works. Latest 2 updates though, were bad: messed up the speaker mode. The other person will only hear me if I speak while literally physically placing my mouth (lips) on the smartphone's primary mic. Nope, it's not dirty. Yes, only happens on this app, and yes I've already tried ALL diagnostics steps. They report regular mode sounds very low, and that they hear me loud and clear while using Bluetooth. Can't use Bluetooth all the time, so I'll update stars when they fix this.

Love the free app. Great for keeping personal info safe & having an extra line to separate business & personal numbers. The calling feature is sometimes sketchy, especially if you don't have a great signal. Sometime's it won't ring & goes strait to voicemail. Texting can be slow. I'll get texts hours after they're sent & no notifications, I'll open the app & have multiple new messages. For a free app though, it's great to have option.

Looks and feels just like Textnow, except it Actually works. You don't have to worry about spotty reception or calls dropping, it won't pick up random clips of "voicemail" that is really just other people's background noise, and it's Very reasonable price. The only issue I've ever had was when I accidentally forgot to turn off battery saver, so just remember to whitelist it, beyond that everything is good. Thank you for bringing functionality to a familiar interface!
