Went to MA to see the ocean for the first time. I had no idea what the beach would be like at low and high tide. This app was spot on. We timed our sight seeing so we could return at high tide (the beach disappeared, by the way, at high tide) and then at low tide to play in the water. Without the app we would not have known when the beach was accessible. The accuracy of this app made our trip much more rewarding.

Great app! Just figure out which USGS tidal monitoring station is nearest and most appropriate for you, locate it from the menu and the tide info you want will always be a couple of taps away. You may have to extrapolate for an area that isn't specifically listed, or is some distance from the monitoring station, but careful observation on your part will let you figure out if you need to add an hour or subtract 15 minutes, for instance. It's easy!

Rev: 4star to 2. Disaapointed in the paid version. It won't reopen the last viewed location as it says it will. I have to re-find the station every time. I don't need the tides every where I go, just a couple of places. Previous: Really like the app. Like that you can enter a location and not need GPS. Needs a home screen tide plot that does not take up the whole screen for a 5! Like aix weather widget.
