You get to read 5 episodes daily for free per series (with ads) and get 1 free pass without ads too, some don't like that but authors gotta make money somehow... The only problem is that sometimes the app would freeze my phone and I would have to restart my phone to get the phone working again. But other than that it's fine.

monetizationcontentThe monetization scheme is horrendous, even if you make your way to the end of a manga reading 2 chapters a day for free, you aren't allowed to read the last chapter of a manga for free which is just the ultimate F U from the app after spending over a month trying to read daily for free. I would never in a million years recommend this to another human being.

Comikey is a way to read some manga I'm interested in and I'm glad it does but there are some issues with it's service. The search function is weak (for example you can not search by author), the selection is limited, most egregiously some works give you less free chapters a day while simultaneously breaking up chapters in to multiple parts (one chapter can be cut into three short parts) in order to gouge users with their poorly priced key system.
