Am using this app from a decade and recently I bought the subscription to watch IPL and it is working great but the only thing that I did not like was when i click on any match cricbuzz directly start the stream which was not the case before as only scorecard was shown. So i hope cricbuzz changes this as sometimes we are in public places and we just want to check to scorecard not directly watch the stream. Thanksss ;)

I signed up for Cricbuzz and saw the 100% cash back from Abound offer. So I decided to sign up for the “Willow by Cricbuzz, Monthly” subscription on Cricbuzz. It then directed me to Abound to sign up and claim cash back. I signed up for that but it sent me to Willow website to sign up and claim cash back. I figured that it would sync with cricbuzz on the subscription since I used the same email and phone number, but it billed me again. So now I have two subscriptions one on cricbuzz and one on Willow both under my name/details for the same service and for same plan for same dates. I sent an email out to Cricbuzz support to help with this but had no response in about 10 days. If Willow is a service by Cricbuzz as it says, and cricbuzz is charging for Willow subscription on its website then how come Willow charges for the same service again on their website even when the customer details and card details are same? I hope they rectify this issue and reverse one of the double charges. I’ll edit my response if/when they provide support.

I have been a fan of Cricbuzz over Cricinfo for a long time as it used to be a cleaner interface, better commentary and some free highlight videos. Over the last year, it has been all downhill with most articles behind Cricbuzz+, most videos behind the same paywall but that has not resulted in lower ads; the number of ads have also increased. Now with their “watch with willow”, it opens up that page by default when trying to check a basic score. I guess if you have paid for Willow and Cricbuzz+, maybe you might be okay - but really if you paid for Willow, why would you watch that on Cricbuzz? On the other side, Cricinfo has improved a lot and is now more user friendly. I guess I will move back to Cricinfo and let these greedy folks who probably get no feedback on what users want do their best to kill the app.
