The app is super cute and, unsurprisingly, a hit with the kids–it's Bluey! But the free version is way too restricted: only two rooms and two characters. I wouldn't mind paying for a few extra features or characters, but locking nearly everything behind a $10/month subscription is excessive. At the end of the day, it's basically an interactive sticker book. It's fun, but not remotely worth a recurring fee. A one-time payment of around $7 would be far more reasonable.

I saw "in-app purchases" when installing, but figured that my kids would still be able to play most of the game. Instead, there are 2 rooms and 2 characters unlocked at the beginning, with the rest locked behind a monthly subscription of $6.99/month. If it had been one time purchases for each room and character, I would have been ok with it, and probably would have paid for at least some of them. But a subscription with no constant flow of new content? Not worth it!

$84 A YEAR!?! Look I would have been willing to pay a bit. A one-time purchase would be fine, but annually this costs more than basically any triple-A game. It's disappointing and an in-game button to link back to the Play Store in a kid's game is just predatory. This is really disappointing to see. You could probably make a decent amount of money if it was a one-off purchase or even a $1.99 a month subscription fee but $6.99 a month for what is a glorified sticker game is absurd. Do better.
