OMG! I’ve tuned into Ky3 weather for years, I can’t recall one time over the years was I ever disappointed or have even 1 episode or airing that I was disappointed or any kind of negative reaction! Brandon Beck was always my Favorite, with a little added humor just about every time he was on seem to keep it like it was always Family! Always wanted to meet Mr. Brandon, I actually worked with a guy who was an absolute nut over Ron Hurst! Several years back one of our salesman brought my Buddy Jack an autograph picture of Ron! I’ll never forget how my friend Jack was on cloud 9 for days! I myself have enjoyed several of the meteorologists that have come and gone over the years! But Brandon is Devoted!! I guess the only flaw that sticks out like a soar thumb would be his football team, the Denver Broncos 🙄 Anyway, they’re are my favorite team! That is “KY3 weather Team” I need to right a review on KY3 Sports, I’m afraid it’s not Quite up there with the weather Team, not the Anchors by no means, more so I’d say the producer! ……… Thank You for allowing me to Share my opinion on the Best Weather team in the nation!!!!

Been using the app for years and this is a fairly reliable app for our local weather but has several caveats. 1. Takes 10 seconds or longer for the app to load. 2. Way too many adds that get in the way especially when you need the weather information immediately such as for severe weather. Need an option for no adds. 3. The weather isn’t always accurate. This isn’t unusual as the weather here changes so quickly but they seem to rely on the click bait method a lot. They will send notifications telling you that a certain weather even could be happening and then when you look at the forecast there’s nothing but clear skies expected and decent temperatures. The notification was sent just to get you to click on the app so they can make add revenue. This happens more times than not lately. 4. It would be nice if they had a widget available for the app.. I know this is a lot and everyone has their own opinions on what they like and don’t. So my suggestion is to download the app and judge for yourself. As i said its not a bad app for local weather but improvements could be made.

I’m not sure if KY3 has new management or what’s going on, but both the app and the weather coverage have been the worst I’ve ever seen. Twice within the last week I heard tornado sirens go off and quickly opened the app to see the tornado warning. There was no mention of any warning in app. I closed and refreshed the app multiple times and the warning never once showed up. Every other weather app had the tornado warning clearly visible at the top of the app screen. Within the KY3 app, there was only a thunderstorm warning and a tornado watch. I understand this maybe glitching once but it’s happened twice now within 7 days. This used to be my go-to app during severe storms but I think those days are over. We have more tornadoes coming into the area this evening and I won’t even be opening this app to check on warning statuses anymore since it’s so unreliable. I’d recommend finding a different app if you need severe storm notifications. You won’t get them here anymore.
