Its like Dead Cells lite. It's neat. It could be better with less sloppy controls and combat. You kinda get used to it, but the line between automation and user input is confusing. I might have enjoyed the Dash feature more if it was a button press rather than tied to the control stick, but I could be wrong. Gunplay in the game is confusing cause so far I haven't found it to be much use compared to dash combat.

Honestly, I wouldn't buy it without a controller. There's no fixed joystick option. It is really difficult to get used to not being able to touch a certain area of the screen and subconsciously know which direction you're going to go. I usually prefer a dynamic joystick, but not when dodging is so critical and you dash by swiping. It feels like you're fighting the control scheme more than the enemies.

Just for the fact that I can play this on my chromebook using a usb controller alone gives this 5 stars for me. It's extremely hard to find games that are actually worth playing on the go. But while I was playing I got the feeling I've played this game before. It's exactly as described. Dead cells meets Celeste. I loved the hardcore music at first, but then it got extremely repetitive. Wish there was more variety. All in all, well worth the playthrough, but not groundbreaking.
